Description
It is one-part acetoxy silicone sealant. It is fast curing and permanently flexible, waterproof and outstanding weather resistant. It is suitable for sealing, repairing, glazing and mending of glass, aquarium, auto windscreen, glazing for window panels and other metal frameworks bonding.
Where to use
They are widely used in industry, building, automotive, packaging, and business, advertisement, and family decoration. They are mainly used in joints adhesion and seal among the glass, tiles, ceramics, aluminum, and fiber glass, powder-coated and non-oily wood.

Application
1. Clean with solvents such as toluene or acetone to keep the substrate surfaces completely clean and dry.
2. For better appearance cover outside of joint areas with masking taps before application.
3. Cut nozzle to desired size and extrudes sealant to joint areas.
4. Tool immediately after sealant application and remove masking tape before sealant skins.
Limitations
1. Don’t use to the joints, which is hidden in earth for long time.
2. Don’t use in areas where no moisture has.
3. Don’t use in places where have permeated grease, plasticizer or solvent such as wood permeated oil, uncured or half-cured resins, etc.
4. The surfaces coated with paint are unsuitable for sealant.
5. The products have poor adhesion to concrete, marble, mirror-glass, Zn-plated materials because of corrosion produced by acetoxy sealant. In this case, please select neutral silicone sealant.

Adhesion Testing
ZHIJIANG Silicone will evaluate tests about the adhesion of our products to job site or representative job site materials in standard laboratory. Results of the adhesion testing, product recommendations and surface preparation will be forwarded in writing.
Compatibility Testing
Incompatibility of glazing materials can lead to sealant discoloration and/or loss of adhesion. To help protect against these problems and to ensure compatibility, ZHIJIANG will also test and provide information on the compatibility of accessory materials (gaskets, spacers, etc.) and other ZHIJIANG Silicone sealants.
Stain Testing
Because of the staining problems that may occur with porous substrates, ZHIJIANG is willing to run laboratory tests and provide information to you on the possibility of staining occurring with the construction materials being used.
Weatherproofing joint design
Wider joints accommodate more movement than narrow joints. When ZJ-225 is being used for wide movement joint, a minimum depth of 6 mm and a maximum 12mm sealant/substrate bond is necessary to ensure adequate adhesion. A properly designed moving joint will have a 2:1 width to depth ratio.
The expansion and contraction of joints is mainly caused by season or daily temperature changes. The designed joint width is at least double estimated movement, better quadruple to remedy errors of materials and application. All size of joints should be gotten through calculation of joint movements, especially wider joint size necessary for plastic board with higher thermal expansion rations.
Application
Surface clean
Cleaning all grease, dirty, water, klunky sealant from surface, accessories and protective coatings and any pollutant left inside joints and sunken parts.
Metal and glass should be cleaned by two-cloth. The solvent used will be methyl ethyl ketone, tolune or xylene and observe the using rule. If for plastic, use the guided solvent from suppliers.
Depending on the condition of the surface, porous substrates may require abrasion cleaning, solvent cleaning or both. Surface must keep dry and clean. Dirties and other impurities should be blew off by non-oily compressed air or gulfed by vacuum cleaner.
Priming
It’s commonly not necessary for priming on using zhijiang silicone sealant. If recommending primer after adhesion tests pour zhijiang primer to a clean, dry, lint-free cloth and gently wipe surface till a thin film formed. Later application.
Masking
Masking tape should be used to keep excess sealant from contacting adjacent areas where it is not intended, to ensure an aesthetically pleasing job. Tool the sealant with light pressure before a skin begins to form (typically 10 to 20 minutes). Remove the masking tape before the sealant skins over.
Backer materials
Generally, three common backer rod types can be used: Open-cell polyurethane, Closed-cell polyethylene, Non-gassing polyolefin. When a backer rod cannot be positioned in a joint opening, a Teflon or polyethylene tape should be used to prevent three-sided adhesion.
Application
Install backing material or joint fillers. Set blocks, shims and tapes. Cut the nozzle of ZJ-225 and fit into gun and make extrusion diameter fit for joint. Continuous extrude sealant into joint without air forming. Care must be taken to ensure complete fill of the sealant cavity. Tool the sealant with light pressure before a skin begins to form. Make sealant surface a sunken shape using raised tool. Not use soap water for assistant. Remove the masking tape after tooling. The sealant for bottom joints should be tooled into slope to protect water accumulation. The surface of sealant should be dry and frost-free. The uncured sealant is not permitted to contact with polished granite, metal or glass to preventing a thin film formed on the substrate surface to affect the esthetic things. Use masking tape. If sealant contact with non-porous material, clean out with methyl ethyl ketone, tolune or xylene.
Sealant repair
If a sealant has failed, it is good practice to understand why it failed and decide which measure to take. To see:
Whether aging of original sealant; Joint movement over the bearing ability for sealant; Adhesion loss or incompatibility between sealant and joint material; Thickness not proper of sealant; Others.
Handling precautions
This paper doesn’t include MSDS for product. It should be notified:
1. Not contact sealant with food or cosmetics;
2. Not contact skin for long time about uncured sealant;
3. Rinse eyes with large quantities of water and seek medical check if sealant drops into eyes.
4. Not put sealant at children’s reach.

Description
ZJ-666 Neutral Silicone mildew proofing Sealant is a one part, neutral curing sealant specifically designed for the sealing of sanitary fittings, including baths, showers, sinks, urinals and ceramic tile joints. It is mildew and fungus resistant.

Product Name： Polysulphide Sealant for Insulating Glass

Product Introduction ：
Description
It is a kind of two-part room temperature vulcanized polysulphide sealant with high performance especially formulated for insulating glass. This sealant has excellent elasticity, heat gas penetration and adherent stability to various glasses.
Insulating glass is a kind of energy-efficient material with various functions of soundproof, heat-resistant, anti-frost, and anti-fume, etc. It is widely used as the wind shields in construction, trains automobiles and the door glasses in refrigerators and freezing cabins.
The property of ZJ-998 is certificated by JC/T 486 -2001standard《elastic sealant for insulating glass》.
The product manufactured by ZHIJIANG ZJ-998 is certificated by GB/T11944-2002 standard – 《Insulating glass》.
Where to use
ZJ-998 Polysulphide sealant is specially designed for insulating glass.
Application
1. Two parts of ZHIJIANG ZJ-998 packaged respectively of composition A (basic gel) and composition B (curing agent), are mixed together according to the ratio of A: B=10: 1 before application. The curing rate may be modulated by changing the weight ratio of composition A to composition B over the range of 12:1 to 8:1 according to different environment conditions.
2. The mixture of sealant can be classified into two methods, one by hand-made and the other by special extrusion machine. It is noticed that ZHIJIANG ZJ-998 sealant should be scratched and mixed by the spatula along the same direction repeatedly to prevent gas bubble trapped in sealant in the method of hand-made. The homogeneity of mixture can be measured by butterfly-type method as listed in the following figure:
3. The surfaces of insulating glasses must be dry and clean.
4. ZHIJIANG ZJ-998 should fill the joints completely which need to be caulked during the course of making insulating glass.
5. Gun mouth should be assured to move along the same direction at uniform velocity to make the joints full of sealant and prevent the gas bubble production due to moving too fast or back and forth in the method of using special extrusion machine.
6. The sealant overflowing the joints should be pressed back at once by spatula to make the sealant contacting with the sides of the joints completely and smooth the surface of the joints along the same direction.

Shelf Life Storage

Product Introduction ：
Description
ZJ-301 is a one-part, solvent-free, fog-free, unsulfurized, permanent plastic first sealant based on polyisobutyl for insulating glass. JS-301 keeps plastic and sealing over a wide temperature range and not crack and harden for sealant surface. It has good adhesion to glass, aluminum alloy, zinc plating steel, stainless steel and etc. It could form an excellent humid proof system with elastic sealant.
Where to use
ZJ-301 is mainly used for insulating glass together with zhijiang’s ZJ-998 two-part polysulfide and ZJ-8000 two-part silicone structural sealant, or ZJ-997 two-part silicone sealant for insulating glass to finish two layer seal.
Application
Clean and dry adhesion surface to get rid of dirty, oily things. ZJ-301 is applied by special hot-melt butyl extrusion machine. The extrusion condition could be satisfied through temperature and pressure adjustment, for example temperature could be adjusted over the range of 100℃～130℃. The environment temperature should not be lower than 10℃ in application.

Application
Surface preparation
Clean all dirty, dust, loose particles by steel brush and clean all oily things with cleaning agent. All former adhesive must be cleaned out by scraping, paring, friction, jet of strong air or suitable ways.
Priming
Primers may be required to achieve optimal adhesion. Smooth priming base and no permitting primer clump and uniformly disperse to prevent any coating cumulus.
Mixture
ZJ-311 doesn’t need mixing and use directly.
Spreading
Spread ZJ-311 on base material with enough pressure and thickness not less than 1 millimeter.
Note
Full cure (dry 7 days under 20℃) for ZJ-311 should be finished before applied place permits water entering into. The adhesive surface could be painted but no recommendation for solvent based paints such as colorful enamel. If should be used, please do in site testing to prove compatibility.
No permission for wet spreading tech. NO recommendation solvent, water, cleaner or soap solution.
No permission for high chloride content disinfected area like swimming pool before consulting Zhijiang’s technician.
Application temperature is between 5 ℃ and 35 ℃.
Paintable Property
ZJ-311 could be painted after dry with traditional method like epoxy or acrylic paints. The adhesive surface will take place reaction and soften if using high solvent content coating like luster enamel or high oily base coatings.
Coating should have similar tensile strength compared with adhesive in order to get best appearance and property. Painting could be processed after 24 hours if thickness of adhesive is less than 3 mm while painted after 48 hours if thickness more than 3mm.
Anti Fire
ZJ-311 is not easy inflammable.
Health and Safety
No contact with eye or skin. Please contact doctor or poisoning preventing center in case of poisoning. If contact with skin, clean thoroughly 15 minutes long or look for doctor.
Pretest Process
Zhijiang will sample all related material and do testing to decide best adhesive type and best performance to preventing any potential problems. Please ask for Zhijiang’s technician for more specifics.

Description
This product is a new type of two-part anchor adhesive for construction structure (JS-201, also named strong type). Application method
1.Drill: Form holes of desirable diameter and depth with impact drill.
2.Clean dirty: Blow away the floating dirty in holes with compressed air.
3.Mixture: Stir uniformly in the package of composition A and weigh the compositions according to the ration of A:B=100:3

Description
Zhijiang ZJ-588 Silicone Gasket Sealant is one component, room temperature vulcanization silicone sealant, It easily extrudes in a wide rang weather condition and quickly cures at room temperature by reaction with moisture in the air to form a excellent , durable, flexible silicone rubber seal.
ZJ-588 has good characters of fast vulcanization under room temperature, thixotropic, no flowing, good aging resistance, good oil, water, diluted acid, diluted alkali resistance, high and low temperature resistance. The sealant can be used at -60℃—250℃, with good sealing ability, antiknock characteristics and shock resistance.

Where to use
ZJ-588 is especially designed for sealing and bonding for automobile. It is one part, neutral curing adhesion, can be widely used gas engine, automobile, gear case, compressor, many kinds of machine tools, and it has good adhesion to water, gas, oil and etc. It also has good seep resistance and adhesion to of urn cover of gas engine, valve covers, screw thread which has bottom rind and high voltage oil pipe, gear-box, front and back end cover of petrolic, the cover of adjust temperature machine ,oil pump, water pump and so on. It will prolong the using life of machine.

Instructions:
1） Clean the stains on the joint surface such as oil, water, dust. Wait until they are dry.
2） Open the cartridge and attach nozzle to cartridge. Cut nozzle on desired size.
3) When bonding or sealing, the width of the sealant gap is at least 0.2 mm. Make sure get rid of all air in the gap.
4) When bonding or sealing, keep the sealant pipe at incline 45 degree. Extrude the sealant into the gap and the sealant will not flow down because of the deadweight.
5) Must extrude the sealant at require thickness in 10 minutes.
6) Curing time: Cured in one hour. Cured 3 mm/ 24 hours under room temperature fully cured in 7 days. There is a phenomenon of curing incompletely in northeast, northwest in winter, but it will not effect the using affection, just keep definite moisture is ok because the sealant is cured by absorbing minim moisture in the air.
Technical information of the material character
ZJ-588 has a good adhesion under -25～50℃,extrude easily. After curing under -50～200℃, it keeps excellent flexibility, good oil, gas, water resistance and good elongation percentage. And also it has high quality sealing for engine and gear-box, good thixotropic, no corrosive, and safe and so on.

Storage and expiry of validity
Store in a cool, dry , airiness place, at a temperature under 27℃ or lower temperature conditions in the original unopened container. It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
