EVA Products: EVA-type laminated glass interlayer film
Today’s architectural trends, which use an increasing amount of glass, are leading to a diversified demand in laminated glass. While safety and security remain important, aesthetics, design, and view control are also demanded as functions of glass.
S-LEC SEF is an EVA-type laminated glass interlayer film. It is distinctive in that it gives glass high design properties to match today’s architectural needs.
S-LEC SEF bonds especially well to PET, and because it is plasticizer-free, it can be used with plastics such as polycarbonate. The film can also be combined with many different materials to give laminated glass a wide variety of design possibilities, including Japanese paper, metal mesh, solar cell modules, LCD, and color PVB.
In a vacuum, S-LEC SEF can be bonded at 95oC, a relatively low temperature.. Moreover, the bonding is carried out without an autoclave or other bulky equipment. While it bonds well with PET and other materials, self-adhesion at room temperature is controlled, and calls for no covering paper-making the sheets easy to handle and enhancing the productivity.
